Letter from the NovoBlend Team

We believe manufacturing carries responsibility—to the people who use our products, the communities we operate in, and the environment we all share.

Sustainability at NovoBlend isn't a marketing initiative. It's how we approach ingredient selection, packaging design, waste management, and facility operations. We're not perfect, but we're committed to continuous improvement in every area where our choices make a difference.

Our clients come to us with varying sustainability goals. Some need biodegradable formulas for LEED-certified buildings. Others prioritize recyclable packaging for consumer brands. Many are navigating the tension between performance requirements and environmental impact. We listen, advise honestly, and formulate solutions that don't force you to choose between effectiveness and responsibility.

This page outlines our current commitments and the specific actions we take to reduce environmental impact, improve product safety, and source ingredients ethically. We update these practices as technology improves and standards evolve.

Thank you for holding us—and yourselves—to a higher standard.

Letter from the NovoBlend Team

We prioritize fully recyclable packaging solutions where each component—bottle, closure, label—can move through standard municipal recycling streams. By selecting materials that align with existing infrastructure, we reduce contamination and increase the likelihood that packaging gets a second life instead of ending up in landfills.

Waste Reduction

Traditional sprayers, pumps, and foamers often contain metal springs that complicate recycling and increase landfill waste. We specify all-plastic dispensing components that eliminate metal parts, making it easier for consumers to recycle the entire package without disassembly. Small design choices like this add up across millions of units

Sustainability Commitments

We follow Amazon's Frustration-Free Packaging and e-commerce 6 Over-Box standards to minimize excess packaging, reduce shipping damage, and lower return rates. Our materials align with the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) guidelines for HDPE and PET to ensure compatibility with North American recycling systems. These choices aren't just good for the environment—they improve the customer experience and reduce costs across the supply chain.

Ingredient Safety

We formulate with safer ingredient alternatives that deliver cleaning power without unnecessary hazards. Our lab evaluates biodegradable surfactants, phosphate-free builders, and low-VOC solvents to reduce environmental and human health impacts. We never test on animals and work with clients to meet green certifications like EPA Safer Choice and USDA BioPreferred when needed.

Ethical Sourcing

We source raw materials and components from suppliers who meet our standards for quality, safety, and ethical practices. While we're continually working to improve traceability and accountability across our supply chain, we're committed to partnering with vendors who share our values and operate responsibly.

Progress, not perfection

Sustainability is an ongoing commitment, not a finished achievement. We're constantly evaluating new materials, refining processes, and listening to our clients and their customers about what matters most. If you're building a brand with environmental responsibility as a core value, we're ready to support that vision.
